Early Childhood Intervention

The LifeWise Centre has practitioners with extensive NDIS experience ready to assist you, located in our easy-to-access clinics in Warners Bay and Maitland.

Our kind, caring clinicians work with each participant and support network towards meeting NDIS goals and achieving desired outcomes. Services are individually tailored for each person, using best-practice, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and tools.

The LifeWise Centre provides Psychological services to address:

  • Problems with memory, attention, and planning

  • Adjustment to a new health condition or new challenges related to a lifelong disability

  • Emotion regulation, inclusive of anger, anxiety, or sadness

  • Social interactions, social communication, and connections with others

  • Comprehensive Psychological Assessment of needs including cognitive or intellectual functioning.

  • Reporting that is tailored to NDIS requirements

Early Childhood Intervention Participants (ECEI) please note the NDIS does not fund diagnostic assessments under this program.

NDIS Participants not using ECEI funding - your NDIS funding may be used for a comprehensive psychological assessment if included in your plan arrangements.

We offer face-to-face services in either one of our clinics or nationally via our Telehealth service. There is strong evidence for the benefits of psychology for a range of participants, including those living with physical, psychosocial, neurological, sensory, cognitive and intellectual disability.
